50 Cent and T.I. End Beef

50 Cent and T.I. took shots at each other last month via Twitter, when Queens rapper 50 Cent said that T.I.'s wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle should have taken the fall for their 2010 drug charges that resulted in the Atlanta based rapper T.I. violating probation and serving jail time. T.I. didn't take too kindly to Fiddy's relationship advice, and the two sparked a Twitter feud. But, in true 50 Cent beef style, the two have made up and squashed any beef they may have had. Fiddy said of the reconciliation:

“We got mutual friends and I was actually in conversation with one of them, and they were around him,” 50 explained. “I didn’t tell him to get [T.I.] on the phone and [T.I.] didn’t tell him to get me on the phone, it was just there and it was like, 'Yo, you just need to talk to him because

As the last few hours of this glorious, Adele-ified year disappear, MTV News is turning its attention to the next 12 months, which promise to be full of big-time blockbuster films ("Avengers," "The Dark Knight Rises," "The Hunger Games") and even bigger-time celebrity events (Beyoncé and Jay-Z's baby, Britney's betrothal, Robert Pattinson doing something) — oh yeah, and there's also going to be a presidential election and the London Olympics and, potentially, the end of the world as we know it. So, basically, 2012 is totally going to smoke 2011.But with so much to look forward to, what will be the event of the year? Well, we decided to take to the streets of New York's Times Square, where the big shiny ball will drop at the stroke of midnight, to find out what's topping your New Year's wish list.

As 2011 winds down and we’re busy exploring overlooked albums and musical internet trends, we’re also giddy with anticipation of what’s to come in 2012. While we don’t have firm release dates — or even a release date at all — for many LPs, here are 10 albums that we’re over-the-moon excited for and are pretty positive will be arriving in the next 12 months.

1. Azealia Banks, Untitled
She may not be of legal drinking age in the States, but 20-year-old Harlem-bred rapper and “Fame” school alumna Banks was certainly worldly enough to create a track (“212”) that become a mainstay on best-of year-end lists around the globe. (She even recently topped NME’s annual “Cool List.”) She also just dropped “Liquorice” (on which she raps over rave-y UK producer Lone’s “Pineapple Crush,” so its British-spelled title is on purpose), stoking hunger for a full-length debut. Good thing Banks recently told Pitchfork that she was moving to London to “bang” out her freshman release with Adele producer Paul Epworth for an as-yet-undisclosed label.

Just two weeks after undergoing a double mastectomy, Giuliana Rancic is in great spirits and ready to ring in 2012 with a clean slate. The E! News host and her hubby Bill, who will be hosting Nivea’s New Year’s Eve event in Times Square, revealed that they’re ready to “throw out the rear view mirror” and move on from the heartaches of the past year.

“I’ve been given a second lease on life. I’m very lucky. I got a raw deal in 2011, but it’s okay because I have a lot to be thankful for. I have an amazing husband, great family and friends. I’m very lucky… and we’re both happy to move on from all of this,” Giuliana told Celebuzz at the Nivea Kiss of a Lifetime event at the Chatwal Hotel in NYC.

Looks like Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are getting the most out of their Hawaiian getaway!

The two were seen on the sandy beaches of Hawaii on Friday afternoon, and the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer showed off her fit physique in an adorable orange bikini. While Liam, 21, and Miley, 19, have had their differences (the two briefly split for a bit late last year) they appear to be more in love than ever, as they could barely keep their hands off each other, with kisses and hugs aplenty.

Miley tweeted about how she started off her day in Hawaii earlier, and said:

Katy Perry and Russell Brand are over! Brand, 36, filed for divorce in L.A. on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences.

A Katy source tells Celebuzz: “They really loved each other and I hope will remain friends. I think they will. Their careers have kept them apart, both of them are very focused on that right now.”
The source goes on to say that there is still hope for the couple, adding, “I could possibly see them getting back together at some point later in their lives though.”
“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage,” Rusell said in a statement to People. “I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”
The two were apart over the holidays, leading many to believe the marriage was over. The Get Him to the Greek actor was seen strolling around London’s West End on Thursday and was not sporting his wedding ring.

Hip-hop’s hottest couple are rumored to be new parents, according to New York’s 10 o’clock news on My9 and other outlets.
Word has it Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z welcomed their first child in NYC on Friday and named her Tiana May Carter, reports are claiming. The news channel says Beyonce has her own floor at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital and checked in on Thursday.
However, their reps have yet to confirm the news.

T.I. has a lot to celebrate this New Year's Eve. This time last year, the King of the South was locked up, serving an 11-month sentence for a probation violation, but since his September release Tip has been on a tear, dropping a ton of new music and landing a reality show with his wife, Tiny, on VH1.
Tip has some big plans for ringing in the new year, even though he tries to downplay things. "For New Year's I'm gonna be waitin' on F--- da City Up to drop. This year there was no shortage of quality rhymes and while purists often complain of rappers’ diminishing skills, in 2011 many MCs put the focus back on lyrics. It was a tough choice, but RapFix reexamined the best verses of 2011 and picked our favorite five.

On the Throne’s RZA-produced track Kanye West exhibits the type of self-examination that made fans fall in love with him. On “New Day” Yeezy puts the last few years of his life under a microscope, and in an effort to right what he’s perceived as his wrongs, he promises to teach his fictional offspring better. “And I’ll never let my son have an ego/ He’ll be nice to everyone where ever we go,” ’Ye begins his verse. From there the College Dropout ran down a laundry list of no-nos for junior. There will be no chastising former President George Bush Jr. at a telethon, nor will Yeezy II be allowed to look for love in the strip club. Still it was with his closing bars that Kanye seemed most vulnerable, still blaming himself for the death of his mother Donda West, spitting, “And I’ll never let his mom move to L.A./ Knowing she couldn’t take the pressure, now we all pray.”

A spokesperson for the NBA icon confirmed to WCNC in Charlotte, NC, that he proposed on Christmas to his girlfriend -- model Yvette Prietto, 32.
Michael isn't the only celebrity who got engaged over Christmas.

Justin Bieber isn’t just a teen heartthrob, he’s also a family man. Following news that his grandparents were in a serious car accident, the “Baby” singer posted a pic on his Instagram account of his little brother and sister, Jazmyn, 3, and Jaxon, 2. Also in the picture, Justin’s dad Jeremy. There are a lot of “J” names in this family.

KStew, 21, reportedly bought two vintage guitars from Norman’s Rare Guitars outside Los Angeles, and despite the $12,000 price tag seemed very pleased with her purchases.
The shop’s owner, Norman Harris, told Us that the actress tested out the guitars for herself before making her decision. She also did her Christmas shopping a little last minute, coming into the store in Dec. 23.
“She said ‘He’s gonna s–t when he sees them!’” Norman told the publication. So what guitars did she buy?

Miley Cyrus got her PDA on with her (shirtless!) boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, Thursday afternoon in Hawaii, where the couple was spotted taking some personal photos together on a nearby rock.

“Miss Independent” put herself out there via Twitter, saying: “I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance. If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he’s got my vote. Too bad he probably won’t.”
She was attacked by people who claim the Republican hopeful is a racist homophobe. True to form, Kelly didn’t let naysayers back her down.
Instead, she laid out her thoughts on the matter, tweeting: “I am really sorry if I have offended anyone. Obviously that was not my intent. I do not support racism. I support gay rights, straight rights, women’s rights, men’s rights, white/black/purple/orange rights. I like Ron Paul because he believes in less government and letting the people (all of us) make the decisions and mold our country. That is all. Out of all of the Republican nominees, he’s my favorite.

I'll let you in on a little secret: Sometimes I love menswear more than ladyfashion. It's not some weird deliberate thing, or a self-hating thing, it's just that dudes have so few options with which to play dress up that when an ensemble catches my eye, it's usually a glorious symphony of layered details. Or it's something so out-of-its-tree bonkers that I can't help but break it down and golf clap.
It's almost 2012, which is the year (according to the Mayan calendar and most of the internet) that all land masses catch fire right before sliding into the ocean, thereby killing everything. As such, we can't very well enter into it neglecting all the lads because they're adorable and something we'll miss when everything is gone. Especially Ryan Gosling.

Mark Ronson is a frickin' treasure. Dude is merciless when it comes to killing me dead with the most shut-it-downiest details. Peep this: We've got three suits. The first has a satin shawl collar with harem pants that's coupled with a nehru shirt. The sheen of the lapel is mirrored in the sheen of his super-black dress sock so the eye is drawn directly into his shoe. It's an elegant line that begins at the shoulder and is unencumbered by a shirt collar or bowtie. The second is head-to-toe fuchsia with saturation points at the jacket buttons and shoes, and the last is not a suit so much as it is a twill trouser (possibly denim) with a double-breasted peacoat/blazer hybrid and a crewneck tee. As one year ends and another begins, it seems like a great time to reflect on the very busy year that the teen superstar and the show's host is bidding a fond farewell to.

     "Ordinary People" soul singer John Legend, 32, and supermodel Chrissy Teigen, 26, "got engaged over the holidays while vacationing in the Maldives," Legend's rep tells Us Weekly. The couple began dating in 2007.

   Legend, a nine-time Grammy Award winner, will ring in 2012 with a performance at the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Casino Resort on New Year's Eve.

The music industry has been stuck in a rut for nearly a decade. But every once in a while, it still manages to produce one of those unstoppable hit albums that give everyone that good old feeling.

This year's model is Adele's 21, which not only sold more copies than any other album in the U.S. in 2011 (more than 5.6 million to date), but which has also moved the most units of any artist since 2004. According to a Reuters report, those gaudy figures (which top 15 million worldwide) make the British songbird the first artist to cross the 5 million mark in one year since Usher did it with his fourth studio album, Confessions, which sold 7.9 million units more than seven years ago.

This the season for giving, and Justin Bieber pulled out all the stops for a Christmas present for his childhood friend, Ryan Butler."Justin got me a present. #swag!!!" Butler posted to his Twitter along with a pic of a brand-new ivory two-door Ford Mustang Convertible Sunday.
The teen popstar and his BFF grew up together in Stratford, Ontario. Butler makes a cameo in Bieber's 2009 music video for his hit, "One Time.

From puppy adoption to paternity suits, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have had quite an eventful year. The couple has somehow made it work despite their hectic schedules and the prying paparazzi. The twosome stepped out as an item in late 2010 when they were spotting dining together at a local IHOP. Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, Big K.R.I.T: Most Anticipated Hip-Hop Albums Of 2012

2011 was a monster year for hip-hop, thanks to a list of releases that offered up a little bit of something for everyone. Kanye West and Jay-Z’s Watch the Throne album was an event onto itself and it was still topped by Tha Carter IV just a few weeks later. MMG’s Self-Made Vol 1. made plenty of noise (especially on Friday nights), then Kendrick Lamar’s Section.80 brought a welcome change of pace. Name-dropping is impolite, but the fall was almost overwhelming with new projects from J.Cole, Wale, Drake, Yelawolf and finally, in the last two months, Young Jeezy, The Roots and Common. That said, 2012 shouldn’t be too disappointing. Look out for debut albums from Big K.R.I.T. and Pusha T, sophomore LPs from Nicki Minaj and Big Sean, plus T.I.’s first post-prison release. A Jay-Z solo album and Watch the Throne part two are possible as well--Hov said so himself.

Spending quality time with her (growing) family, Hilary Duff was spotted shopping for last minute Christmas items with her husband Mike Comrie and sister Haylie Duff. Hilary showed off her blossoming baby belly in a tight top as she carried bags full of groceries to her car.

From the looks of it, we’d say that the Duff family is preparing for a Christmas feast!

NIcki Minaj talks Kiss with Madonna and new Album

While shooting the new video for "Give Me All Your Love", hip hops hottest female rapper Nicki Minaj came face to face with pop icon Madonna, who is featured in the song. And while the Barbie-obsessed rapper was excited to just meet the long term icon, she was more excited about the mouth-to-mouth kiss they shared, and took to tweeting all the details, even saying she hopes the recorded footage surfaces:

In an interview with XXL, Birdman talked about signing fast rapping artist Mystikal to Cash Money Records, and how he was happy signing a home town hero to the label. He also stated that he thinks he can help the rapper reach huge levels of fame given his original talent:

"Just to be able to work with Mystical, I'll tell him I appreciate the opportunity," Birdman says of the union. "All he's been through and him being from the town and what we been through together, it means a lot to me, what we're doing, building the brand and the team. I'm super excited, the team is super excited. 2012 we're gonna let it go, we have a lot of great music on him. I want him to be bigger than he's ever been. I have a lot of great music on him, we know it's a lot of work. He knows it's a lot f work. We're gonna go hard. It's perfect timing for him and for us to be able to work with him," continues Baby. "We're just excited. I didn't even look at the past. I didn't think about what we went through. That shit's so far behind us. We're trying to provide for the team and the family. I think he's a special talent like a Busta Rhymes or a Drake or a Wayne. He can't be duplicated. His style is original. We gonna put out some visuals on him, his album is coming in May and we gonna roll." (XXL)

Fans looking forward to the rumored Lil Wayne and T-Pain collabo album from the famously dreaded rappers, appropriately titled T-Wayne, are sure to be disappointed, as Miami based rapper T-Pain confirmed that the joint effort has been shelved indefinitely, stating:

"When [Wayne] got into his little trouble, that was right at the peak of when we was like, 'OK, let's go. Let's do this now.' He finally had time, then he went to jail," said Pain, who recorded eight or nine songs for the project before it was scrapped. While he's still up for it, he doesn't think Weezy is interested. "Things happen and I'm pretty sure he's over the whole idea now. I don't even be bringing it up to him no more. I'm pretty sure he's way past that right now. He's doing big things." (Rap-Up)

Nicki Minaj recently took to her twitter account to reveal the title of her upcoming new album along with the day it is set to be released. Look for "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" to hit stores on Valentines Day 2012.
