Check Out The Celebrities Who’ve Had The Best Year Ever In 2011

It’s been fun, 2011! The past 12 months provided us with some incredible pop culture moments, and, we at Delahoyanews couldn’t help but reflect on the year’s top celebrities and their career-defining moments.
Take a look through our gallery as we reflect on those who’ve had monumental years! From actors and musicians to royals and models, these stars had so much success in 2011. There’s no denying their stardom and talent will only shine brighter in 2012!

Selena's stardom has definitely risen since her days on Disney! The actress/singer released another album, "When The Sun Goes Down", in June, and starred as the lead actress in 'Monte Carlo.' But the 19-year-old definitely lucked out in the love department as well. Selena's widely-publicized romance with Justin Bieber only grows stronger, and they have become the tween world's hottest couple. What's next for Selena in 2012? Her signature perfume hits stores in spring, and she's also set to become a big sister! Her mom, Mandi, and stepfather, Brian, are expecting their first child together.

There was no denying Ryan's mainstream popularity in 2011. The fan favorite starred in three major films this year alone: 'Drive,' 'Crazy, Stupid, Love.' and 'The Ides of March.' The Gos also undeniably won the hearts of his female fans and costars: his infamous rejection as 2011's Sexiest Man Alive ignited nationwide backlash and a protest toward People magazine. Did we mention he's also chivalrous (famously broke up a fight in NYC during the summer) and yummy (an artist imprinted his good looks on a pancake)?

The Australian supermodel became a proud parent with hubby Orlando Bloom to their son, Flynn, one of the most adorable celeb babies in 2011. While she's been enjoying the thrills of motherhood, Miranda also kept busy with her Victoria's Secret Angel duties. She worked the runway at this year's fashion show after giving birth just in May! Miranda was even bestowed the honor of donning the "Million Dollar Bra."
With her rocking figure and infectious personality, Mila was recently named GQ's "Knockout of the Year." Her performance in 'Black Swan' earned her a Golden Globe nomination. She also starred in the summer hit 'Friends With Benefits' alongside Justin Timberlake, and is still the voice of Meg in 'Family Guy.' Mila's currently filming 'Oz, The Great and Powerful', which is slated to hit theaters in 2013. She plays Theodora, a witch who is conflicted with good and evil after encountering costar James Franco's character.
Melissa's unforgettable and hilarious role in 'Bridesmaids' instantly launched her into stardom. After the success of the comedy blockbuster, she earned her first Emmy win for her role in the CBS comedy 'Mike and Molly', and was also crowned as the new "Queen of Comedy" by Entertainment Weekly. The former 'Gilmore Girls' star also has a slew of big-name projects coming up--she will star alongside Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann and Megan Fox in Judd Apatow's 'Knocked Up' spinoff and was casted in an upcoming comedy also starring Jon Hamm.
2011 was Jennifer's breakout year. Her gritty performance in 'Winter's Bone' catapulted her as one of this year's major awards contenders---it notably earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress at age 20, only the second youngest actor to have ever been nominated. And it looks like her next projects may bring Jennifer further into the spotlight. She landed the coveted leading role of Katniss Everdeen in the film adaptations of 'The Hunger Games' trilogy, and is currently filming 'The Silver Linings Playbook' alongside Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro.
'Easy A's' leading lady has been on fire since the end of 2010. Her performance in the high school romcom got her a Golden Globe nomination, and she's starred in three major films since then: 'The Help', 'Crazy, Stupid, Love.', and 'Friends with Benefits.' She's currently filming 'Gangster Squad' with Ryan Gosling and Sean Penn. The 22-year-old actress also recently wrapped up filming the highly-anticipated remake of 'The Amazing Spider-Man'--where she plays Gwen Stacy---with rumored boyfriend Andrew Garfield.
Beyonce just might be the biggest pop star around, so it's no surprise the announcement of her pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards caused an eruption of fodder among fans around the world. In addition to being pregnant with her first child with hubby Jay-Z, her fourth solo album, "4", debuted at No. 1 in the charts in eight different countries including the U.S. Bey also grabbed two Grammy nominations at next year's show.
Kate's marriage to Prince William was one of the most watched TV events in recent history, and everything about the Duchess' life has been analyzed: from public appearances and fashion choices to pregnancy and lifestyle rumors. But Pippa has also had her share of the spotlight: all thanks to Sarah Burton's gown. The maid of honor literally turned heads as she walked down the aisle in the infamous white, figure-hugging gown. And the fashion industry took notice, too: the Middleton sisters were recognized as one of the most stylish celebrities in Vogue's 2011 Best Dressed issue.
While all three men of "The Voice" had major success with the hit music competition, each have had their own personal achievements, too. Cee-Lo's smash single, "Forget You," instantly topped the charts, and even had more success with Gwyneth Paltrow's 'Glee' cover. Adam also had success in his music career with "Moves Likes Jagger," his collaboration with fellow judge Christina Aguilera. As for Blake, he wed longtime love Miranda Lambert and his version of Kenny Loggins' "Footloose" also received positive reviews.
