Check Out Celebrity Weddings of 2011

With her weight loss and successful show "Hot in Cleveland," Valerie Bertinelli continued her second act as she rang in 2011 with a January 1 wedding in Malibu, California, to financial planner Tom Vitale, whom she began dating in 2004. "I could have spent the rest of my life with Tom and not be married,

Former "American Idol" standout Kellie Pickler started the year off right with a wedding to songwriter Kyle Jacobs during an intimate, tropical ceremony on New Year's Day. "Private Island. Caribbean. Cigar in one hand, Rum in the other. Someone just called me "Mrs. Jacobs."....sounds nice :)," she tweeted.

When country singer Shania Twain split with her husband of 14 years after she discovered he had an affair with her then-best friend in 2008, little did she know that it was the beginning of her happily ever after. The Canadian songstress formed a bond with the other woman's ex, Frederic Thiebaud, whom she ended up marrying in Puerto Rico on New Year's Day. Does this sound like a Lifetime movie to anyone else?

After going through a messy, high-profile divorce with "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Camille Grammer, Kelsey Grammer dove right back into marriage with girlfriend Kayte Walsh in NYC on February 25. Although it was his fourth marriage, the "Boss" star pulled out all the stops for the ceremony at the Longacre Theater, where Grammer starred in Broadway's "La Cage aux Folles." Later, guests retreated to the famous Plaza Hotel for a ...

Technically, "Austin Powers" actor Mike Myers married longtime girlfriend Kelly Tisdale in October 2010 -- but the rest of us only found out about it in March! The couple reportedly exchanged vows in a private ceremony with friends and family in NYC. Talk about an "International Man of Mystery"!

On March 26, Reese Witherspoon, who famously divorced fellow actor Ryan Phillippe in 2006, took the plunge again when she swapped vows with Hollywood agent Jim Toth at her Ojai, California, ranch. As fans might have guessed, Reese opted for a traditional wedding in which she wore a dress designed by Monique Lhuillier and walked down the aisle to the tune of "Here Comes the Bride."

Singer Michael Buble was so excited about his bride, Luisana Lopilato, that he married her three times! The couple held a civil ceremony in March in her native Argentina, then celebrated with 300 friends and family members in another ceremony there on April 2, and topped it off with nuptials before 350 guests in his native Canada the following month. Whew, that's a lot of wedding cake!

Our apologies to a certain reality star, but the union of Kate Middleton and Prince William was hands down the event of the year! An average of 22.8 million people tuned in during the early morning hours of April 29 (beginning at about 3 a.m. Pacific Time!) to watch the royal couple walk down the aisle at Westminster Abbey in London. Were you one of them?

Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes, who famously left their spouses for each other after meeting on the set of a Lifetime movie in 2009, made their romance official when they tied the knot on April 22. The more than 40 guests invited were told they were going to attend an engagement part. Instead, they witnessed the couple's nuptials at a private home in California.

Just call him the male version of Elizabeth Taylor. Actor Lorenzo Lamas, 53, walked down the aisle for a fifth time in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on April 30. The lucky bride this time was Shawna Craig, a 24-year-old two years younger than Lorenzo's reality star daughter, Shayne. Anyone care to make a bet on how long this relationship will last?

Aw, it's like a happy ending in an upbeat country song! Singers Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton tied the knot on a ranch near San Antonio, Texas, on May 14. The "Kerosene" gal wore her mother's wedding dress and cowboy boots for the ceremony, which took place in a barn lit by lanterns. The only question was who would provide the entertainment. Since both Lambert and Shelton were a little busy, fellow country crooner Neal McCoy did the honors..

Crooner Keyshia Cole and Cleveland Cavaliers hoopster Daniel Gibson said "I do" in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 21. While most details of the occasion were kept quiet, Gibson did share some of his happiness with fans via Twitter: "So the world ain't end. Not yet... But a brand new world for me and my family has just begun! #Blessed," he wrote.

"Rules of Engagement" actress Sara Rue and Kevin Price incorporated beer pong -- the game they played when they met -- into the reception for their Malibu, California, nuptials on May 21. According to Us Weekly, guests received custom painted paddles and balls as favors so they could join in on the fun! (11/07/2011)

Remember how adorable Tamera Mowry and her twin sister Tia were on their '90s sitcom "Sister, Sister"? She's all grown up now! The actress said "I do" to her honey, Fox News Channel correspondent Adam Housley, in Napa Valley, California, on May 15. And don't worry -- her sister was still by her side as matron of honor. (She married actor Cory Hardrict in 2008.)

Former "Dancing With the Stars'" contestant Niecy Nash became a Mrs. for the second time when she wed electrical engineer Jay Tucker at the Church Estate Vineyard in Malibu, California, on May 28. Friends like "The View's" Sherri Shepherd, Holly Robinson-Peete, and Sheryl Lee Ralph joined in the fun. (03/04/2011)

Lily Allen was all smiles as she married Sam Cooper in Gloucestershire, England, on June 11. As if their union wasn't enough good news, the British singer also announced that she was expecting a baby! The happy couple welcomed their baby girl on November 25. (06/11/2011)

Impossibly good-looking couple Rachel Weisz ("Definitely, Maybe") and Daniel Craig (the latest James Bond) managed to keep their June 22 ceremony in upstate New York a secret. It probably helped that the two only had four guests: her then-5-year-old son with ex-husband Darren Aronofsky, his then-18-year-old daughter from a previous marriage, and two pals who served as witnesses.

Former "Ugly Betty" star America Ferrera was anything but as she walked down the aisle to marry director Ryan Piers Williams on June 27. The two met when Ryan cast America in a student film he was making while at the University of Southern California. Good call, Ryan! (04/30/2011)

Sorry, Jamie Hince! When Kate Moss gets married, no one really cares about anything but what she's wearing! The fashionable model donned a retro, glittery gown created just for her by controversial designer John Galliano as she wed The Kills rocker in Southrop, England, on July 1. Stella McCartney also designed several outfits for her to wear during a weekend of events to celebrate the marriage,

Singer Monica and NBA basketballer Shannon Brown proclaimed their love in a lavish wedding with 300 guests on July 9, but they actually swapped vows months earlier, in a small November 2010 ceremony that only included witnesses. Famous faces in attendance for the much larger fete included Khloe Kardashian, Cee Lo Green, and NeNe Leakes.

After having two children together, "Dancing With the Stars'" Brooke Burke and "Baywatch" hunk David Charvet tied the knot in St. Bart's on August 12. Besides the happy couple's little ones Rain and Shaya, the Charvet clan also includes Brooke's two daughters from a previous marriage, Neriah and Sierra. Now that's a full house!

If you watch "The View," then you remember the seemingly endless countdown to co-host Sherri Shepherd's wedding to Lamar Sally. The couple finally said "I do" in Chicago on August 13 with some of Sherri's BFFs by her side, such as Niecy Nash and fellow co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck. One celeb pal who was not in attendance? Joy Beha

While their 72-day marriage was short -- even by Hollywood standards -- the lead up to the August 20 nuptials between NBA player Kris Humphries and reality star Kim Kardashian was over the top! The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" diva was conveniently trailed by paparazzi as she went through months of dress fittings, cake tastings, and other errands while she planned the big day

"Shameless" actress Amy Smart and HGTV's Carter Oosterhouse were a perfect fit from the start! Not only are the two both ecologically minded -- they even met at an environmental charity event! -- but they've both got roots in Traverse City, Michigan, his hometown and the place her parents live. The pair said "I do" there in front of 215 guests on September 10.

Model-turned-actress Molly Sims ("Las Vegas") and producer Scott Stuber ("Whitney") got hitched in style in Napa Valley, California, on September 24. She wore a Marchesa dress and he wore a Tom Ford suit.

Rocker Gene Simmons' wedding to Shannon Tweed -- his girlfriend of 28 years(!) --in Beverly Hills on October 1 was captured on cameras for the KISS frontman's reality series, "Gene Simmons' Family Jewels." The couple's son Nick, 22, and Sophie, 19, were on hand to watch their parents say "I do." Sophie, who served as maid of honor, even sang "At Last" for their first dance.

His characters in movies like "Knocked Up" and "Pineapple Express" are immature to put it mildly, but in real life actor Seth Rogen was ready to settle down. The "50/50" star and his girlfriend since 2004, writer Lauren Miller, tied the knot at Kunde Estate in Sonoma, California, on October 2. And yes, all of Seth's onscreen pals like Judd Apatow, Paul Rudd, and Jonah Hill were in the house.

Legendary singer Paul McCartney and his bride Nancy Shevell emerged from their October 9 civil ceremony in London to fans throwing confetti. While he wore a blue suit, she sported an above-the-knee dress created, of course, by the former Beatle's daughter and fashion designer, Stella McCartney.

Well, it didn't work out twice before for "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress Shannen Doherty, but that didn't stop her from tying the knot for a third time with Kurt Iswarienko in Malibu, California, on October 15. Sounds like this one could have the potential to last though! The brunette with the bad girl reputation said she was entering into the union more cautiously: "Marriage to me is such a gigantic commitment that it's not something I'd ever go

Former "American Idol" contestant Paul McDonald didn't win the singing competition, but he walked away with a consolation prize in the form of "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed! While still a finalist on the reality show in March, Paul met Nikki at the premiere of the movie "Red Riding Hood." By June, the two had announced their engagement, and on October 16, they officially became husband and wife.

After dating for eight years, Bijou Phillips ("Raising Hope") and Danny Masterson ("That '70s Show") became husband and wife in a private castle in Ireland -- Masterson is Irish -- on October 18. As Philips confessed to the L.A. Times, the couple's plans to wed elsewhere after becoming engaged in March 2009 were interrupted by Mother Nature. "I was going to get married in Iceland, but then it blew up

Besides the Royal Wedding, it sounds like Robin Williams' nuptials with his girlfriend of four years Susan Schneider was the hottest ticket in town this year! On October 23, Hollywood heavyweights such as Steven Spielberg, Billy Crystal, and George Lucas gathered to bless the union at Meadowood Resort in St. Helena, California. Hmm, perhaps our invite got lost in the mail? (11/13/2011)

"Real Housewives of Atlanta's" Kim Zolciak married Atlanta Falcons star Kroy Biermann, father of her 8-month-old son Kroy Jagger Jr., on November 11, making the date of their union 11/11/11. "I just remember thinking, this is the day I've waited my whole life for," Zolciak told Life & Style. "I really do feel like I'm dreaming." Let's hope that feeling lasts!

Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles stuck to her roots when she and Todd Van Sickle chose a wedding locale. The two became husband and wife in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee on November 26. While we wish her lots of happiness, is it selfish to hope she's not so happy that she can't sing those heart-wrenching country ballads she's known for anymore?
