After months of planning and one very big media frenzy, Prince William and Kate Middleton finally tied the knot in London on April 29. Afterwards, William took the wheel of an Aston Martin -- complete with decorations and a "Just Wed" license plate -- and drove his new bride through the Mall in London to greet the thousands of well-wishers who turned out to see the happy couple.  At the height of Pippa fever, Duchess Catherine's little sis and maid of honor, Pippa Middleton, took on the Highland Cross Challenge duathlon in Scotland -- which included a 20-mile run and a 30-mile bike ride -- over the weekend, and not only did she finish the charity race, she did pretty well. Pippa completed the race in just over five hours and finished within the top 15 women. She also got more media coverage than any other participant, of course. (06/18/2011)

Who would've thought it wouldn't last? Well, even if you saw the writing on the wall, it would have been hard to guess that after the multi-million-dollar wedding, the reality TV special and slew of media coverage, reality star Kim Kardashian and NBA player Kris Humphries would have only stayed married for 72 days. In June, the then-engaged couple looked happy as they did some pet supply shopping ... right? (06/11/2011)

Justin Timberlake is a man of his word! The 30-year-old singer and actor made good on his promise to Corporal Kelsey De Santis, who asked him earlier this year via video to accompany her to the Marine Corps Ball in Richmond, Virginia. In case you were wondering, there was no goodnight kiss after the event, which took place in November. "We just all gave hugs and parted our ways," DeSantis told "Good Morning America." "He was a complete gentleman." The following week, JT's "Friends With Benefits" co-star Mila Kunis attended a ball in Greenville, North Carolina, with a Marine Sergeant. It's the new Hollywood trend!  Charlie Sheen -- who scored a over a million followers during his first 24 hours on Twitter -- introduced NBC's Jeff Rossen (and the world) to his two "goddesses" -- Natalie Kenly and Rachel Oberlin -- during an interview with "Today" in February. The troubled star -- who ended up leaving his hit show "Two and a Half Men" -- was seriously relishing in his moment in the spotlight earlier this year, granting interviews to pretty much any news outlet that asked, which resulted in lots of memorable soundbites. Winning! (2/28/2011)

The whole world pretty much already knew Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were together, but the two really made it official in July when they held hands in front of photogs as they left the exclusive Shoreditch House in London. The couple took their trip across the pond so Jen could promote her new film "Horrible Bosses." The duo's relationship got off to a slightly scandalous start since Justin was in a long-term relationship with his costume designer girlfriend Heidi Bivens when he met Jen on the set of the film "Wanderlust."  Would you like a Coke with that popcorn? Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber surprised fans in February when he showed up behind the snack counter at a theater where his 3-D flick "Never Say Never" was playing. (02/16/2011)

Although Maria Shriver's had to deal with a tough situation separating from husband Arnold Schwarzenegger in the wake of learning the former governor fathered a child with one of the family's staffers, she didn't let it keep her from surprising Oprah Winfrey at her big farewell show in May. "You have given me love, support, wisdom and, most of all, the truth," Shriver told Winfrey. (05/17/2011)

The embattled Lindsay Lohan found herself back in court in February for stealing a necklace from a Venice, California, jewelry store and kicked up extra controversy when she sported yet another in a series of inappropriate outfits -- this time a low-cut Chanel top and pants worth around $8,000. The starlet was eventually sentenced to to 120 days behind bars and 480 hours community service, but was able to serve out her reduced "jail time" under house arrest. (02/23/2011)

Sorry, Charlie! "Two and a Half Men" stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones met with their newest castmate, Charlie Sheen's replacement Ashton Kutcher, at the CBS Upfronts in New York City in May. Sheen made sure not to be a good sport about the whole thing. "Ashton Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer. Oh wait, so am I!!" he said in reaction to the news. "Enjoy the show America, Enjoy seeing 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB. Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there." One thing the new season does have with Ashton and without Charlie? Better ratings. (05/18/2011)

Yep, that's Al Pacino under there! Passersby in Mineloa, New York, surely did a doubletake when they saw the actor on the set of the upcoming Phil Spector biopic film in August. Helen Mirren and Jeffrey Tambor also star in the movie. (08/02/2011)

President and Mrs. Obama kicked off the 133rd annual White House Easter Egg Roll the day after the holiday with daughters Sasha and Malia, the first lady's mother, Marian Robinson, and, of course, the Easter Bunny! The event attracted nearly 30,000 people, including Kelly Ripa, Kimora Lee Simmons, and their families, and featured a performance by Willow Smith. (04/25/2011)

His new film, "The Tree Of Life," was apparently booed during one press screening in Cannes, but the star of movie, Brad Pitt, got plenty of cheers -- and attention from photographers -- on the red carpet at the famous film festival in May. Brad's wife, Angelina Jolie, was also in Cannes promoting her movie "Kung Fu Panda 2." (05/16/2011)

Speaking of Angelina ... the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador made a surprise trip to Afghanistan in March to meet with refugees, where the star delivered educational materials, and urged that more action be taken for the reintegration of Afghan exiles into their society. Jolie said in a statement, "The focus needs to be put now on reintegration and that means not just putting up shelter but making sure there is water, job opportunities, a school for the children and medical clinics." Rihanna and Britney Spears teamed up on stage at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, and while the crowd may have enjoyed the performance, the Parents Television Council condemned their racy routine. (05/22/2011)

Celine Dion, her husband Rene Angelil, their 10-year-old son Rene-Charles, and their new twin babies Nelson and Eddy, received a warm welcome in February as she returned to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for a three-year run at the Colosseum. (02/17/2011)

After smashing the window of his dressing room in March as a result of being questioned on "Good Morning America" about his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna, Chris Brown stormed out of the studio shirtless. The singer later apologized for his actions, telling BET's "106 & Park," "I didn't try to hurt anyone. I just wanted to release the anger that I had inside of me because I felt like I worked so hard for this music and I love my fans and I love to be able to make positive music, but I felt like people kept just trying to take it away from me." (03/22/2011)

Willow Smith scored a front row seat at 2011's Grammy Awards courtesy of her new BFF Lady Gaga. Turns out the pint-size singer may have influenced the pop queen's Grammy night performance. During an appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" that week, Gaga revealed, "I actually know Will and I love Willow, and I actually told her that she inspired me to whip my hair back and forth on stage." (02/13/2011)

Awwww. Who said Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell don't get along? After lots of speculation, Paula was indeed tapped to join her former "American Idol" castmate Simon as a judge and mentor on Fox's new singing reality competition show "The X Factor." The two were snapped getting smoochy during auditions in Los Angeles. (05/08/2011)

Was Tom Cruise performing for a crowd or just rehearsing some tunes for "Rock of Ages," the musical film he shot in Miami? Either way, we're sure anyone strolling by was thrilled to see the shirtless celeb on his hotel balcony over the summer! (07/16/2011)
