Iyabo Obasanjo Says "I Will Not Deny My Letter"

Iyabo has refused entreaties by family members, friends and political leaders to withdraw the letter exclusively obtained by the Vanguard newspapers where she described her father as a liar, manipulator, megalomaniac, narcissistic, two-faced hypocrite and wife beater. She has also ruled out further communication with her father till death. Iyabo said:

“Nobody can say that I told him that I didn’t write it. I am not a liar. I will not back away from what I wrote and there is nothing that is there that is a lie,” 

She disclosed that she decided to break away from her father after realising that he cannot change from his manipulative person she had known all along, adding that throughout last year she did not speak with her father. 

Olusegun Obasanjo Blasts Vanguard For Publishing Letter

The former president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo himself was furious when approached by Vanguard, yesterday, as he hurled invectives at the newspaper over the exclusive letter from Iyabo Obasanjo Ojo that was published by the newspaper outfit.

The exchange between Vanguard and the former president ran thus:

Vanguard: Sir, we tried reaching you all through yesterday, to no avail, over the letter written by your daughter, Iyabo, to you.

Chief Obasanjo: You are a bloody idiot, you have published the paper and you are now looking for me, you are an idiot, don’t call me again. When Iyabo finishes you in court…. (hangs up).

About two weeks after he wrote an 18-page open letter to President Jonathan, former president Olusegun Obasanjo is now a recipient of an open letter. His daughter, Iyabo obasanjo, has written him an 11-page open latter where she said 'it is the end of her communication with him for life'.

In the letter dated 16 December 2013 and exclusively obtained by vanguard newspaper, Sen. Iyabo Obasanjo described her dad as a liar, two faced hypocrite and a legendary women maltreater. She accused him of beating her mum when they were young and described him as an absentee father and grandfather.

She also said her father is determined to foist on President Goodluck Jonathan what no one would contemplate with him as president. She called him an egoistic craving for power and living a life where only men of low esteem and intellect thrive.
