Today, British betting company
Ladbrokes released photos of the royal women (
Queen Elizabeth,
the Duchess of Cambridge and
the Duchess of Cornwall) getting the royal nursery prepped with the help of
Pippa and
Carole Middleton.
In addition to that, Ladbrokes put together an infographic covering
any and all information relating to bets placed on the royal baby's
gender, name, hair color, date of birth and more.
This comes on a day when the UK learned its sovereign would be taking on less royal duties in favor of her son,
Prince Charles.
As heir to the throne, Charles will represent Her Majesty at
November's Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Sri Lanka.
According to
Richard Palmer of the
Daily Express, the Queen (who turned 87 last month) will most certainly not abdicate the throne like Queen Beatrix, but the Prince of Wales' presence at Parliament today was a clear indication that she is scaling back her engagements.
