Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' Continues to Dominate Box Office
It may be a new year, but it was the same old story at the box office this weekend as "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" lead the way once again with an estimated $29.6 million according to Hollywood.com.With no new wide releases at the cineplex over the New Year's weekend, the rest of the box office chart was rounded out by holdovers as well, with "Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows" coming in second ahead of the family-friendly "Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked," which continued to perform strongly despite universally bad reviews.
