Kanye West Pulls a Taylor Swift on Britney Spears

  Nice to see that Kanye West has reached the stage where he can poke fun at his past embarrassments.
The My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy rapper took a playful jab at Britney Spears—and himself—on Friday, sending a tweet to Spears that hearkened back to his infamous "Imma let you finish" interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 Video Music Awards.
In a tweet referring to Spears' chart domination this week with her new single "Hold it Against Me" and the release of "H.A.M.," his own collaboration with Jay-Z, West wrote,

"Yo Britney, I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z single is one of the best songs of all time! LOL"

West went on to note that "H.A.M." is "#2 on ITunes...THANK YOU!!!"

Britney Spears' manager, Adam Leber, has also responded to West's taunt on the singer's Twitter account, shooting back,

"Thanks for 'letting' us be #1. Much appreciated..."
