In case you missed it, during his promotional tour for his new book, Jay-Z stopped by the Howard Stern show last week. Discussing everything from growing up in Brooklyn to his run-ins with President Obama, Jigga talked a lot about Kanye West and his incidents with President Bush (during the Hurricane Katrina aftermath) and Taylor Swift (at the MTV Video Music Awards). "It's bittersweet in a lot of ways," Jay said of Kanye jumping on stage at the VMA's. "If we look back, everyone would agree that he was right. It was bad timing. It was not her fault. It's not Taylor Swift's fault. She didn't nominate ... she didn't elect herself. She just sat there and she had a dream and she's seeing that dream being realized, and he had the same dream, so he realizes that now. He was fighting for the integrity of the award, and he knows how hard he works on his videos. It was bad timing, but we agreed."
Although he doesn't like to talk about his personal life in public, Jay-Z did discuss his wife Beyonce. Jigga first squashed all the rumors that she was pregnant and he was about to become a father. "I really sit back and wonder when people are going to stop," he said. When Stern implied that Jigga has twelve bodygaurds, Jigga immediately corrected him saying that he and Beyonce only have two. "I don’t want people to think we travel with an entourage," Jay said.
