Two weeks after passing away in a horrific car accident,
Paul Walker was laid to rest yesterday
A select group of Walker's family and friends paid their
respects to the late actor during a private ceremony at Forest Lawn Memorial
Park Cemetery. E! has reported that those in attendance included Paul's father
Paul Walker Sr., his mother Cheryl Walker, his brothers Caleb and Cody Walker.
It is believed that Walker had been cremated and his remains
were interred at the cemetery.
Although the ceremony was private, thousands of fans have
flocked to the site where Walker and his friend Roger Rodas were killed. In
turn, it has become a public memorial for the Fast & Furious actor who was
working on the 7th installment in the franchise at the time of his passing. The
fate of that movie is still being decided by Universal.
And while Paul was known for fast cars and blockbusters, he
also founded the humanitarian aid charity Reach Out Worldwide. ROWW hopes to
continue its fundraising with an event during the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.
Paul Walker was 40 years old.
