The news filtered in yesterday but it wasn't confirmed. It's
now been confirmed. After more than five months, the Academic Staff Union of
Nigerian Universities (ASUU) has officially called off its strike action
starting from today November 17th.
The strike was called off after a meeting in Minna, Niger
State yesterday, days after ASUU signed a new agreement with the Federal
Government. Congratulations, students!
